I was traveling from NW Ga to Central Georgia and could not update prices as I was driving. I jotted notes, then went back later (3-4 hours) and tried to update prices that had not been updated since I passed the stations. I tried to include the correct times that I passed the stations, but the prices would not update. Do you have to be in the vicinity of the station to update it? Can you not update a price later, even though you can adjust to the correct time? Just curious.

I suspect a bug in the program.

It is likely that you did indeed report the prices but the android app did not indicate it. I just did a test where I reported prices for a station in Georgia and back dated the time spotted to a time 1 hour later than the previous post. The price showed up on the app but the time still showed the previous time of the previous poster. If I looked at the web site or brought up the station details on the map, it showed my time spotted.

I was using the app on my Droid. It does allow you to change the time to an earlier time when you post. It just would not take the update yesterday a couple of hours later. I did not think about trying to do the update on my computer. I was only trying to update the stations that did not have a more recent update than when I passed them. I wondered if the mobile app had a distance limitation. Thanks!

If you're posting form your computer (not from the mobile app), there should be no reason why you cannot post the correct times. The app, at least for the iPhone, doesn't allow you to backdate the entry, and assumes the time to be at the time you're making the post. You cannot change a price post, afterwards, to an earlier time. If you re-posted it (on your computer) with an earlier time, you would get credit for the post, but it wouldn't show as there's already a newer (and assumed correctly posted) price listed.

The mobile app, apparently, has distance limitations that the computer program does not have.

Shouldn't be a problem. What were you using to report prices? The full site? App? Mobile site?
