You have a lot of useless sub-forums but not enough good ones. For example, you have 3 off-topic forums (Off Topic, Just Fun, Games) but only 1 forum to discuss improvements to GB website and zero forums to discuss improvements to the GB mobile apps.

suggestion:
consolidate/combine Off Topic & Games
consolidate/combine Talk Back & How Did You Find Us
consolidate/combine Fuel Economy & Car Talk
create Android forum
create iPhone forum
create Windows Phone forum
create other mobile apps forum (bb, palm, )

I can understand and respect that some of the forums have been split for a reason and should not be consolidated. While I find some of the replication silly (Fuel Economy & Car Talk) I'll admit that I have not read every forum available on GB to see how they are being utilized. However, I do get a bit confused on where I should create a topic when there are 2 forums about the same subject. For example, if I find a problem with the website should I use Talk Back to "bring something to GB's attention" or the website forum? and what about for mobile app problems/suggestions?

Like I said, I would like to see forums added for each version of GB (android, iPhone and windowsM) so discussion is more clear and less confusing. Several times now I've been reading discussions and I can't tell with platform the people are even talking about. It's not about the volume of traffic, but the quality and relevance of the content.

What about combining Talk Back and Suggest a web site improvement? That the two are separate forums strikes me as odd.

Games used to be on the "Off Topic" forum and it was total disaster. The sub-forums were developed to alleviate the congestion. Back in '04 and '05, Off Topic was loaded down with fluff stuff and ALL the political threads. Combining ANYTHING would be a step backward.

Strong disagree on this one. I want to continue reading the former without having to deal with the pollution of the latter.

And that one category doesn't get a huge amount of traffic, so it seems fine to me. If you think there should be more than one, then how should it be split? Note that the number of related categories is not a value measure.
