As long as it doesn't have too much Mitsu-built stuff in it (like the Sebring hardtop did), Chryslers seem to be good enough cars. My GF's Sebring hardtop, really a stretched Eclipse with a sleeker body, has been one of the most unreliable cars I've been around. Likewise, my parents had a pair of '96 Dodge Caravans. The only problems we ever had in those were in the Mitsu-sourced 3,0 litre drivetrains.

It's now Chrysler Holding LLC (80% Cerberus, 20% DCX).

I love my Chryslers. I believe they are the best American made cars. I cannot understand why people have not discovered the value of Chrysler products. I currently own two identical Inferno Red 2006 Chrysler 300C Heritage Editions. They are every bit as beautiful, reliable and fun to drive as any Mercedes 600 series for less than half the price! Chrysler is the best kept secret in the automotive world. Daimler's marketing strategies are to blame for the lackluster sales problems. I like big luxury sedans, and the bought the best ones I could find. The cars are so nice, I bought them twice! LONG LIVE CHRYSLER

I own a 2002 Concorde LX with a little over 92,000 miles on it and I have to say, it's been one of the best all around cars I've ever owned. Even though mine has the 2.7 liter engine which is not going to snap your neck back in any red light challenges, thats not what it was designed for and thats now how I drive now anyway. The trunk fits more in it than the back of my girlfriends Toyota Sienna minivan! I upgraded to a leather interior from a wrecked LXi that I found on Ebay and now I have a nice little luxury car. The gas mileage could be better for such a small engine (around 21 city / 27 highway), buts thats still not that bad for the ride and comfort I get out of it. I use synthetic oil during every oil change at around 5,000 miles and I installed a K&N air filter. Other than that, this car has been virtually maintenance free and I wouldn't hestitate to buy another one.

First thing, there is no "Chrysler Corp". Chrysler is currently a brand name under DaimlerChrysler Corporation (DCX) based out of Berlin, Germany. Other popular brands under DCX are Jeep, Dodge, and Mercedes. The Chrysler Building is named after the founder of Chrysler Motors, Walter Chrysler. Chrysler, way before merging with Benz, before 1930, moved his booming car business headquarters from Michigan to NY City. He decided to construct the worlds tallest building as a marketing ploy. It was rightfully named The Chrysler building.

Chrysler Corporation's darkest days were those of the 'K-Cars' in the 70's and early 80's. Nothing they've done, before or since, approached them for total lack of redeeming features!

I currently own a '94 Concorde and an '01 LHS. Both have been pretty good vehicles once the initial bugs were worked out of them.

They have had some tough years, like the 1997 Minivans. That was the model year where they drastically redesigned the Minivan, and changed the transmission. The transmission was a sore spot.
