Time to stop rising gas prices before its too late

Hammonton News N.J. area -- During his campaign for president, President Obama said he did not have a problem with gas being $4 a gallon. He said he had a problem with gas prices getting to $4 so fast.

Notice President Obama is not saying a word about the steady increase in gas prices. Why? Because it is increasing slowly.

It also means that some employers will lay off some workers to offset their costs. Both of these mean lower fuel consumption, which also means lower (obscene) profits..... Economics 101

Many theories but it all points to those who hold the gold make the rules. In the meantime, get a gas-sipper and drive as little as possible.

Then, start announcing how many new wells start producing each month.: This is completely false. The US is already the #3 producer of oil in the world. The problem is that the US is, by far, the #1 consumer of oil. We cannot drill our way out of this, and we certainly cannot "announce" our way out of this. People who tell you otherwise are either ignorant or disingenuous.

Who would want to find alternative energy sources if gas is at $1.50? Not profitable, let's face it!
