Pennsylvania is an area where they have open electric competition. Other retail electric providers are offering a discount plan that matches the old electric heating rate. However, nobody is offering the water heater switching. The discount was minimal in the first place, but (IMHO) it would be better to have your water heater shut off 15 minutes an hour than have the utility go into rolling blackouts. Load shedding stinks, it never goes as planned!

Keystone if being replaced by a pipeline to B.C. China, Japan, and Korea will be getting that oil, which will allow them to cut back on their Iranian oil defense.
